Flu Campaign 2020

Barbourne Health Centre is pleased to be offering eligible patients their flu vaccination in Autumn/Winter 2020. For those attending their arranged appointment, please see the following information and advice:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are running our Saturday flu clinics in a different way. Please see below for guidance:

  • Please DO NOT attend if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid19 or are self-isolating.
  • A face mask must be worn at all times (unless you are medically exempt).
  • On arrival you will be met by a marshal at your designated entrance (either A or B- this has been sent via text message or delivered by telephone call) who will ask you to hand sanitise before you enter the building. Please ensure you keep your designated entrance information to hand.
  • Please ensure you are wearing suitable clothing, i.e. a short sleeved t-shirt so your arm is readily available for your vaccination. This is to ensure we keep everyone moving throughout the building as quickly as possible.
  • The car park will be very limited; this is due to large numbers of people attending at their scheduled times. We will be operating a COVID-secure queuing system to ensure the safety of all pedestrians. Alternative car parking will be available on St Stephens Church Grounds- we encourage all those that can either walk or make alternative arrangements to please do so.
  • The surgery reception will be closed for any enquiries and the toilet facilities will be shut.
  • If you require disabled access please make yourself known to a marshal on the day so we can ensure you can enter the building safely.
  • Please maintain social distancing at all times on site and follow instructions from the staff that will be in and around the building.

A map detailing the entrance information can be found here

Thank you for your compliance in ensuring our flu campaign this year can continue to run smoothly and everyone can be kept safe.
