All information about patients is confidential from the most sensitive diagnosis, to the fact of having visited the surgery or registered at the practice.

The duty of confidentiality owed to a person under 16 is as great as that of any other person. All patients can expect that their personal information will not be disclosed without prior written consent except in the most exceptional circumstances, when somebody is at grave risk of serious harm. Written and computerised medical records are owned by The Secretary of State for Health

We make every effort to give the best service possible to everyone who attends our practice.

However, we are aware that things can go wrong resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. If this is so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly, and as amicably, as possible.

Simply write in to our Practice Manager Mrs Louise Tweney, and she will set all the necessary wheels in motion. Further written information is available on the complaints procedure from reception. We are continually striving to improve our service. Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated area, and can be handed into reception.
